Smith County Humane offers assistance with the feral and community cat population of Smith County.

We can provide traps to use, or trap services along with spay and neuter services for feral cats. 

FERAL/COMMUNITY CATS are spayed or neutered with no income requirements, however the cat must be in a trap to receive the FERAL services.

TO REPORT CASES OF NEGLECT please call your local law enforcement or report to us at 615.735.7028. In EMERGENCIES, please contact law enforcement first, and then report to us. 

Waggin' Tails is 501(c)3 nonprofit located in Smith County and serves animals in need primarily focusing on our 4 legged canine companions and getting those who are in need to rescues where they can be adopted into fur-ever loving families! 

In Tennessee Livestock neglect and cruelty cases have a bit of a different process: 

1st: Call Local Law Enforcement to request a welfare check if situation is dire or emergency

2nd: File complaint with TN Dept of Agriculture HERE

3rd: Notify us either on facebook or via the Contact US page.

If your pet has gone missing, or you want to report a found pet, please post the pet on Smith County Lost and Found Pets

Post flyers in the area the dog/cat went missing or was found.
